REM(A)INDERS

« Hélène Delépine est en recherche constante. Le réel, saisi lors d’une déambulation, est la source de la fiction où se développent des cohabitations improbables et pourtant interrogatoires. La place et les interactions des éléments du réel s’en trouvent déplacés, glissés au sein d‘une fiction, dont l’oeuvre ainsi composée se trouve porteuse. Dépayser le réel est sans aucun doute le moteur de cela. »

A partir d’une marche organisée à Saint-Nazaire avec l’artiste Alexis Judic pour découvrir les trésors architecturaux de la ville et son histoire, l’artiste a photographié puis dessiné certains éléments qu’elle a retranscrit par le procédé du modelage. Point de rencontre entre le réel, les perspectives et les points de vue, les sculptures forment une synthèse où le paysage citadin incarne le désir d’imaginaire. 

Reminders ou remainders, rappels ou restes, REM(A)INDERS est un récit qui explore l’origine, l’essence des images et ce qui demeure.

Les sculptures ont été réalisées dans le cadre de l’exposition REM(A)INDERS réalisée à Saint-Nazaire aux Ateliers PCP et présentée du 25 septembre au 18 octobre 2020, sur une invitation des Ateliers PCP et de l’association APO33.
